Paul in Caithness

Patience, and Luck!

Someone in the finishing Department DROPPED this beautiful Crucifix weight, and it had at least 6 different "Knock" marks all over it! I kept it for over 10 years until I found someone who could facet it to the design I wanted. The result was worth waiting for!

The second piece is one of my favourites, it's one of only 3 ever made. Paul had been making double Harlequins for Paul Jokelson of America, and I asked him if it was possible to make a "TREBLE". Sure enough, a few days later, 3 "Trebles" appeared in the factory shop. As they were trials, Paul didn't include his PY cane. I bought one, a friend bought another, and a lucky unidentified tourist bought the LAST ONE!
Paul never made this design again, although everyone who saw it, loved it!
